Milk Education is seeking a compassionate, resilient and proactive Behaviour Mentor to support pupils in a vibrant and inclusive school in Enfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people.

About the Role

• Support pupils with behavioural, emotional and social needs
• Use de-escalation strategies and positive behaviour techniques
• Build trusting, consistent relationships with students
• Work 1:1 or in small groups to remove barriers to learning
• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff and SENCOs
• Help create a calm, safe and engaging school environment
• Contribute to behaviour plans and intervention strategies
• Act as a positive role model at all times

Ideal Candidate

• Patient, empathetic and emotionally intelligent
• Confident working with challenging behaviour
• Experienced in a school, youth work or SEN environment
• Skilled in restorative approaches and behaviour management
• Able to stay calm under pressure
• A strong communicator with a team‑first attitude
• Committed to supporting young people to make positive choices

Requirements

• Experience working with young people in an educational or pastoral setting
• A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
• Relevant training in behaviour management (desirable but not essential)
