A dedicated education provider is seeking a compassionate Behaviour Mentor for a primary school in Ealing. In this full-time, term-time role, you will provide one-on-one support to a Year 6 pupil, helping them to engage effectively in school. Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, confident and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming primary school in Ealing. This role involves providing one-to-one support to a Year 6 pupil, helping them to engage positively in school life, regulate emotions, and reach their full potential both socially and academically.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent 1:1 behaviour and emotional support to a Year 6 child
  • Build a trusting, supportive relationship that promotes confidence and resilience
  • Implement behaviour strategies and personalised support plans
  • Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO and pastoral staff
  • Encourage positive learning habits and engagement in lessons
  • Support with de-escalation, emotional regulation and problem-solving
About You
  • Experience supporting children with behavioural, social or emotional needs (school, youth work or similar settings)
  • Calm, patient and empathetic approach
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to set clear boundaries and be a positive role model
  • Reliable, committed, and passionate about helping children thrive
