Job Title: Behaviour Management Assistant

Are you passionate about empowering students and promoting positive behavioural outcomes? GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Management Assistant to join a local school in Bournemouth, working with both primary and secondary students to provide tailored support and encourage positive development.

About the School

The school is a special education setting that caters to children from primary through to secondary age, with a focus on those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. It also supports students with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs). The school offers small class sizes, typically with no more than seven pupils per class, and is supported by high staffing levels to ensure individual attention. Facilities include purpose-built classrooms, a sensory room, therapy hub, quiet rooms, a food technology kitchen, a creative learning room, sports hall, outdoor play areas, a large playground, an outdoor learning area, and a courtyard garden. The school emphasises a calm and nurturing environment that fosters resilience, safety, and respect. It follows the National Curriculum, offering a flexible timetable that combines traditional primary and secondary school learning, adapted to meet the diverse needs of its pupils.
