A community healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join their crisis services team. The successful candidates will provide quality care and support to individuals in short-term mental health crisis. We’re looking for skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to join our crisis services team. BHTs play a hands-on role in providing quality care and support to individuals in short-term residential mental health crisis. If you're dependable, caring, and thrive in a team-focused, fast-paced environment, we want to meet you!
Provide individualized care that protects consumer rights, dignity, and wellness
Support daily living skills and deliver medications per policy
Assist with admissions, consumer orientation, and supervision
Monitor and report changes in consumer behavior and condition
Ensure a clean, safe, and homelike environment
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow safety protocols
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support care plans
Escort consumers to appointments and assist with daily routines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or caregiving preferred
Must pass a caregiver background check, pre-employment physical, TB test, and drug screening
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to complete required CBRF trainings
Must be able to bend, stoop, sit, stand, and lift items up to 50 lbs
