Job summary

Dunbia in Saltcoats is recruiting for permanent General Operatives to join the Loading Bay. This fast-paced role involves moving beef sides, unloading lorries and processing goods in a chilled environment.

You will work Monday to Friday, 5am to 1.40pm, 38 hours per week, with weekly pay and access to staff discounts and parking. We require good communication, the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team to meet customer specifications while maintaining health, safety and food

Qualifications

Good communication skills.
Ability to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of a team to achieve high levels of customer service.
Flexible approach to work and be prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities

Moving beef sides into chills (large fridges) and into the Boning Hall to be processed.
Unloading lorries and weighing product in.
Adhering to correct stock rotation procedure.
Breaking down sides of beef using equipment and machinery.
Working in a chilled environment.
Working as part of a team to meet production demands and satisfy customer requirements.
Maintain Health, Safety, Hygiene and food quality standards in accordance with Company rules and regulations.
