We are currently recruiting for a Care & Support worker to support our team at Caremark. Caremark is an established and highly regarded home care provider offering home care, personal support, home help and companionship services. We aim to deliver the highest standards of professional care and support to customers who remain living in their own homes, encouraging independence, safety and respecting their values, dignity and freedom of choice.

Responsibilities
  • Support customers in living independently by helping with everyday tasks such as dressing, toileting, bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
  • Assist with daily living activities: medication administration, meal preparation and planning, eating, drinking, and helping those with reduced mobility move around; also laundry, tidying and cooking.
  • Accompany customers to community activities, shopping, medical appointments and liaise with health‑care professionals.
  • Provide companionship, emotional, social and spiritual support, and encourage independence and choice.
  • Support the Field Care Supervisor in implementing field‑based quality control systems and help all Care & Support Workers within the area.
  • Monitor, supervise and mentor Care & Support Workers; ensure accurate documentation, service and staff satisfaction, and promotion of professional development.
  • Ensure all written reports and administration are up to date.
Candidate Requirements
  • Ideally NVQ/QCF Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care.
  • At least 1 year experience working for a domiciliary/home care agency.
  • Organised, methodical, and detail‑oriented.
  • Flexible around working schedules, roles and responsibilities.
  • Team player and people‑oriented.
  • Authorisation to work in the UK, full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
What We Offer
  • Pay rates £12.00–16.00 ph weekdays, £12.50–18.00 ph weekends.
  • 1.5× weekend pay on bank holidays.
