Qualifications

• Background in beauty, skincare or cosmetics product development.
• Understanding of end-to-end product development processes.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of supplier management and commercial negotiations.
• Understanding of product costing and margin considerations.
• Experience supporting or leading product testing programmes.
• Exposure to formulation development and technical product considerations.
• Knowledge of shade development processes.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept through to production.
• Manage project timelines and critical development paths.
• Drive product costing activity and supplier negotiations.
• Develop and execute product testing programmes.
• Analyse consumer feedback, market insights and testing results to inform decisions.
• Partner with marketing to support product claims and launch strategies.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with packaging, technical, quality and marketing teams.
• Identify and mitigate development, quality, cost and timeline risks.
• Create presentations, project updates and recommendation documents for stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends and market innovations to identify future opportunities.
