Job summary

Wittering West Ltd in Kettering is offering a Bathroom and Kitchen Fitter Apprentice role within our installation team. You will learn trade skills while working on bathroom, kitchen and home renovation projects.

This apprenticeship lasts about 1 year 3 months, with weekly attendance at Bedford College and a requirement for a full UK driving licence. You’ll gain hands-on experience, supported by experienced fitters, on site.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 9–3 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe removal of bathroom and kitchens.
• Remove units, sanitary ware, tiles, worktops, flooring and fixtures.
• Load and unload materials, tools and waste.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Learn basic plumbing installation techniques and assist with fittings.
• Learn basic carpentry skills and floor levelling techniques.
• Carry out general labouring work.
