Job summary

A family-owned building company is seeking a Bathroom Fitter/Tiler to join their team in Gateshead. You will be responsible for completing domestic insurance repair works, including installation and removal of bathrooms. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record in a similar role and experience in tiling and pipework. A competitive salary of £35,500 per annum is offered, plus overtime and benefits.

Job Overview

A successful family owned building company specialising in insurance repairs are seeking a Bathroom Fitter /iler to join their team working across the North East due to increase in volume of work through long term clients.

Responsibilities

• Complete primarily domestic insurance repair works as per the job card instructions.
• Complete works to a high standard efficiently, maintaining health and safety on site, liaising with other trades and customer satisfaction.
• Remove bathrooms.
• Plumb and instal new bathroom suites.
• Carry out Tiling Pipework, Joinery work.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable proven track record in a similar role working in occupied domestic environment.
• Experience in installation / removal of bathrooms.
• Tiling experience.
• Pipework experience.
• 1st and 2nd fix joinery experience.
• Professional and be able to self manage.
• The ability to hit deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Able to demonstrate the ability to work as a team and excellent communication skills.

Compensation

In return you will receive a negotiable salary of £35,500 per annum (40 hour week) plus overtime at time and a half, company pension and company van.
