Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking a skilled Bathroom Fitter for social housing planned works across Redruth, Hayle and Helston in Cornwall. You will install wet rooms and full bathrooms, handling tiling, plumbing and basic floor laying as part of a busy maintenance team.

The role starts as a 12-week temp via agency, then moves on to permanent direct employment. A valid UK driving licence and a reliable, honest approach are essential for visiting sites across the county.

Responsibilities

• Planned maintenance work fitting wet rooms and bathrooms.
• Tile, plumbing and light flooring as required.
• Fit full bathrooms and wet rooms with other trades.
• Travel to sites in the company van.
• Interact with customers politely and report progress to supervisor.
• Work mainly in Redruth, Helston and Hayle areas.

Bathroom Fitter – Redruth, Hayle and Helston areas

Experienced Bathroom Fitterrequired on social housing planned works inCornwall.

Great opportunity with a busy and highly regarded maintenance contractor.

Permanent role £37,440 per annum van and fuel card.

You will start 12 weeks temp through us as the agency then go on the books with the company direct.

Bathroom Fitter Day to Day:

• Planned maintenance work in social housing properties fitting wet rooms and bathrooms
• You need to be very competent in the whole process, tiling, plumbing, some floor laying etc.
• Fitting full bathrooms and wet rooms
• Working alongside other trades
• Travelling to various jobs in the company van
• Dealing with some customers and being friendly and polite
• Reporting to the supervisor on progress
• Most of the work is Redruth, Helston, Hayle areas of Cornwall

Bathroom Fitter Requirements:

• Extensive experience fitting wet rooms and bathrooms
• Good attitude
• Honest and reliable
• Full UK driving license
