Base Administrator : London Gatwick Airport

We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Base Administrator at our 14th UK base, London Gatwick Airport!

Our Base Administrator is a pivotal role within our Ground Operations Team. This is a varied and interesting role in which you will work at the heart of the operation to support the Team with all administration duties.

What will you do in the role?
  • Key administration tasks such as maintaining staff records, uniform ordering & note taking/meeting minutes.
  • Support the operation with colleague rostering as well as annual leave and shift change requests.
  • Play an important role in supporting recruitment activity ensuring a smooth and consistent process.
  • Ad hoc tasks including managing petty cash, processing invoices and stock ordering.
What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?
  • The successful candidate will already be demonstrating Role Model behaviours and will be an ambassador for the Jet2 brand and ethos.
  • You will have a strong background in administration, and be a competent user of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are also essential, as is a strong Teamwork ethos.
  • Knowledge of Airport and Passenger Operations processes is required and experience of undertaking an administration focused role within an airport environment would be beneficial.
