A leading healthcare provider in Greater London is looking for a Shop Assistant to support the shop manager in managing retail activities and training volunteers. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to motivate a team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the shop's success while providing high-quality service to customers.
The purpose of this role is to assist the shop manager to manage the retail activities of the Guild shop and trolley services.
The post holder needs to assist the shop manager to manage the shop and trolley volunteers and assist in delivering a high standard of training to all volunteers regarding the running of the shop, customer service, and the delivery of the trolley service.
Work day to day without supervision, making referrals where appropriate
Manage the smooth and efficient running of the Guild shop and trolley at all times
Deliver training to ensure that Volunteer staff are sufficiently competent, customer focused and able to demonstrate sound knowledge regarding products
Promote sale of Guild branded souvenirs
Report to shop manager on any issues regarding volunteers
Report to shop manager on matter relating to shop business
Report infrastructure defects and required repairs
Manage infection control within the shop, store and trolley service
