Responsibilities

  • Work day to day without supervision, making referrals where appropriate.
  • Manage the smooth and efficient running of the Guild shop and trolley.
  • Deliver training to ensure that Volunteer staff are competent and customer focused.
  • Promote sale of Guild branded souvenirs.
  • Report to shop manager on any issues regarding volunteers.
  • Report infrastructure defects and required repairs.
  • Manage infection control within the shop, store and trolley service.
Job description

The purpose of this role is to assist the shop manager to manage the retail activities of the Guild shop and trolley services.

  • Deliver training to ensure that Volunteer staff are sufficiently competent, customer focused and able to demonstrate sound knowledge regarding products
  • Promote sale of Guild branded souvenirs
  • Report to shop manager on any issues regarding volunteers
  • Report to shop manager on matter relating to shop business
  • Report infrastructure defects and required repairs
  • Manage infection control within the shop, store and trolley service
