Overview

Job Description

The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by preparing and serving beverages to hotel guests and visitors in a professional, efficient and courteous manner. The role requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring compliance with hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring excellent service at all times
  • Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel recipes and guest preferences
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cocktail trends, wine lists and beverage pairings
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, equipment and stock
  • Monitor guest behaviour and ensure responsible service of alcohol in line with licensing laws
  • Support the Food & Beverage team with stock control, ordering and inventory checks
  • Promote hotel facilities, events and loyalty programs to enhance the guest experience
  • Handle guest complaints professionally, escalating when necessary
  • Adhere to all health, safety and hygiene standards

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines and beers.
