Job summary

Marston’s pubs in Wales are seeking a bartender to join our Bar and Waiting team. You must be over 18 to comply with alcohol-serving legislation. This role welcomes newcomers to hospitality and focuses on delivering friendly, memorable guest experiences.

As a bartender, you’ll take orders, serve drinks, upsell our food and drinks, and support the wider team. Flexible part-time hours are available, with a range of apprenticeships and progression options within Marston’s network.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 to comply with alcohol serving laws.
• New to hospitality? You’ll quickly pick up the basics and grow with us.
• Be friendly, enthusiastic and ready to help guests have a great experience.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of our pubs and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take orders, serve and upsell food and drinks to guests.
• Deliver brilliant customer service and engage with the team to support shifts.
• Assist in other areas as needed to help the pub run smoothly.
• Develop people and operational skills while getting paid for it.
• Progress through our career pathways across pubs, hotels and support centres.
