What

We expect from you:

• Previous experience in bartending, including cocktail making – 1 year (preferred)
• Customer service – 1 year (preferred)
• Competently use EPOS and workplace systems
• Qualified in WSET Level 2 Award in Beer
• Passionate about sustainability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Great time management
• Enthusiastic and Friendly
• Ambition to grow within the company

Responsibilities:

• Fulfilling customer drink orders accurately and promptly
• Providing a welcoming environment to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Opening/closing of the venue
• Working with management to deliver events and tastings
• Escalating customer, HR, and health & safety issues and concerns to management
• Reporting any issues with stock or equipment to management
• Conducting yourself professionally whilst on Mercato property
• Reporting financial discrepancies to management
• Following company procedures and carrying out any reasonable requests made by management
• Responsible for Health & Safety at work, including COSHH, and following procedure and training
• Attending training sessions and tastings when required
