Job summary

Sticks’n’Sushi Victoria is seeking a bartender who thrives in a buzzing environment and loves hospitality. You will bring energy, a big smile, and a calm approach to fast-paced service, while learning about our Danish and Japanese roots.

You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional drinks, maintaining bar standards, and helping guests feel welcome as part of the Sticks ’n’ Sushi team.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy bar environments and delivering great service.
• Ability to stay calm and maintain high standards during busy shifts.
• Friendly, energetic and guest-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensure bar service standards are carried out to the highest level and guest needs are prioritized.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the bar and restaurant.
• Continuously develop knowledge of products and concepts.
• Engage with guests, representing the brand with enthusiasm and a big smile.
• Learn about Danish & Japanese culture, ingredients, and service style to guide customers.

What you’ll be doing at Sticks ’n’ Sushi

• Ensure our bar service standards are carried out at the highest level and always prioritise the needs of the guests.
• Ensure that standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the bar and restaurant
• Continuously develop knowledge of our new products and concepts
• You’ll be the face of our values, culture and brand, helping our Guests to leave the real world behind for a little while.
• You’ll bring passion, energy, and personality to the bar - every shift!
• You will learn about Danish & Japanese culture, ingredients, and service style - so when you recommend a drink, pour sake, or guide the guest through our menu, your focus is on mastering your craft.

• Ideally, you already have experience in a busy bar, knowing how to give great service and make people happy.
• You are a spark of energy – full of passion for hospitality. (And probably say “Ja tak” more than once a day!)
