Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a Barista (Zero Hours) for university venues on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week. You will prepare drinks, handle payments, keep the bar area clean, and work with a motivated team to deliver high-quality service.

Shifts are variable and you will learn beverage and food preparation while following health and safety standards. Ideal candidates communicate well, have customer service experience, and can work under pressure with reliability.

We\'re currently recruiting a dedicated Barista (Zero Hours) to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Universities on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Universities and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
