Black Sheep Coffee Ltd is hiring for a full-time barista in Reading. You will make great coffee, artful lattes, and serve food while delivering a warm customer experience. The role requires multitasking in a busy environment and offers a generous benefits package and guaranteed hours.

The job includes varied shifts Mon-Sun, early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, with a weekly bonus scheme and free coffees on shift. Training and progression are available.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous coffee or food service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Flexible availability, including some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Make amazing coffee and products - dial in the perfect espresso, pour eye-catching latte art, and serve quality food and drinks every time.
• Deliver unforgettable customer service - provide a friendly, genuine customer experience that keeps guests coming back.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment - work with speed and efficiency during peak periods while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Be a true team player - support ad hoc tasks assigned by Manager on Duty, help train new baristas and communicate clearly and calmly during every shift.
• Take pride in the details - maintain a clean, safe workspace and represent the brand with positivity and professionalism. Complete daily and shift-based cleaning, food prep, compliance checklists.
