Job summary

Blank Street is hiring baristas in London to deliver friendly, high‑quality service and craft beverages in a fast-paced cafe setting. You will thrive working independently and as part of a team, upholding food safety standards and maintaining store safety.

You will train in the brand’s coffee program, manage time during busy periods, and contribute to initiatives that increase foot traffic and customer loyalty across the neighbourhood.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality.
• Availability that meets cafe needs.
• Part-Time: 24 hours per week, 3 days with 2 peak days.
• Full Time: 35 hours per week, 4–5 days with 2 peak days.
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred.
• Store hours: 6:30 AM – 9:30 PM; UK work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Delight customers with welcoming, consistent service.

What you’ll own

• Delight our customers with consistent, welcoming and engaging customer service, taking the opportunity to turn every customer into a regular
• Work within a world-class coffee program using the best coffee equipment (the Eversys cameos and shot masters) and products in the industry to prepare the tastiest drinks
• Complete all training to ensure proper measures are in place to achieve the correct handling of food and beverages to retain their freshness and quality
• Have systems in place to avoid wastage of product with both food and beverage, following and adjusting par levels where needed in line with business peaks and lows
• Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations and Food Safety Standards at all times
• Full and complete knowledge and adherence to all product, service and brand training playbooks
• Participates in all initiatives with the Operations and marketing teams to increase foot traffic, new customers, daily sales, and operational profitability and develop a loyal neighbourhood customer base

• Availability that meets the needs of our cafes

• Our store opening hours is 6:30 AM - 9:30 PM
• You must be authorised to work in the UK
