Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, partnering with Costa, is seeking a motivated Barista to craft drinks and deliver top-tier service in a fast-paced high street setting. This part-time position is contracted to 16 hours per week, with variable shifts.

You will learn brewing methods, maintain a clean bar area, handle payments, and proudly represent the Costa brand with enthusiasm. Teamwork, reliability, and guest-first attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare perfectly blended drinks and serve high-quality food that delights our customers.
• Keep the bar area clean.
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards).
• Be an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator.
• Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates.
• Learn about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques.
• Check brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
• Representing Costa and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 16 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers.
