Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is hiring a Barista for a major High Street brand, Costa, on a part-time basis contracted to 16 hours per week. You will deliver first-class coffees and high-quality service while maintaining the bar area and handling payments.

You'll join a team that values initiative, reliability and great communication, with opportunities to progress within the company and develop brewing knowledge and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• Able to communicate clearly and work well in a team.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment and coffee preparation.
• Must be able to work variable shifts and weekends.
• Able to maintain cleanliness and food hygiene standards.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 16 hours per week. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Costa and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
