Job summary

One Retail Group, on behalf of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a friendly Barista to join the Asda team in Crewe on a part-time 10-hour-per-week contract.

You will craft great coffee and serve high-quality food, while managing the bar, taking cash or card payments and maintaining cleanliness and food hygiene standards.

We value customer service experience and a proactive, reliable attitude, with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service.
• Excellent communication and relation-building skills.
• Able to keep to deadlines and stay organized.
• Hands-on experience with coffee equipment or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks and serve high-quality food to customers.
• Learn brewing methods, drinks and food presentation.
• Keep the coffee bar clean and stocked with clean crockery.
• Ensure equipment works and report maintenance needs.
• Take cash and card payments and maintain hygiene standards.

About The Role

We're currently recruiting a Barista to join Asda on a part time basis, contracted to 10 hours per week. You'll craft great coffee and serve it with a smile, becoming part of our customers' daily routine, one cup at a time.

What You'll Do

• Preparing perfectly made drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Learning about brewing methods, drinks and food presentation
• Keeping the coffee bar clean and stocked with clean mugs and plates
• Checking the coffee equipment works properly and reporting any maintenance needs
• Taking cash and card payments
• Complying with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards
