Job summary

Compass Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Barista to craft drinks for Healthcare on a part-time basis, contracted to 34 hours per week. You will deliver first-class service, brew high-quality coffees, and support customers and colleagues across the Healthcare team.

The role focuses on customer service, teamwork, and adherence to Food Handling & Hygiene standards, Health & Safety rules, and brand representation. Training and progression opportunities are available within Medirest.

Responsibilities

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Healthcare and maintaining a positive brand image
