Job summary

Cambridge House, opening in Mayfair as part of Auberge Collection, seeks a passionate barista to craft exceptional coffee and deliver warm, engaging service in a luxury setting.

You will contribute to shaping the house culture, maintain high quality standards, and collaborate with culinary and hospitality teams to create memorable experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience in a quality-led café, restaurant or luxury hospitality environment would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, allergen awareness and safe beverage preparation.
• A collaborative approach with a keen eye for detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve exceptional coffee, tea and other beverages with precision and consistency.
• Demonstrate knowledge of coffee origins, blends, brewing methods and flavour profiles.
• Maintain beverage quality, temperature, texture and presentation to high standards.
• Welcome guests with warmth and engaging conversation to create moments of connection.
• Set up and close down the coffee station; ensure equipment is clean and calibrated.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies to support daily operations.
• Work with Culinary, Beverage and House teams to deliver seamless service.
• Uphold hygiene, allergen awareness and personal presentation standards.
• Contribute ideas to shape Cambridge House’s distinctive coffee and hospitality approach.

• Set up, maintain and close down the coffee station with care, ensuring equipment is clean, correctly calibrated and ready for service.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies and handle ingredients responsibly, helping ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
• Work closely with our Culinary, Beverage and wider House teams to deliver seamless service and support the wider guest experience.
• Uphold exceptional standards of hygiene, food safety, allergen awareness and personal presentation.
• Bring curiosity, creativity and a collaborative spirit to the team, contributing ideas that help shape Cambridge House’s distinctive approach to coffee and hospitality.

Qualifications
