Job summary

Hall & Woodhouse’s Ship & Shovell pub in central London is hiring Bar & Waiting staff for the season and potentially beyond. Roles can be full or part time with flexible hours to fit around your life. The venue offers great pay, shared tips, rewards, and a 60% meals discount on duty.

Ideal candidates are natural hosts with hospitality passion, aged 18+, reliable team players, and ready to travel to the venue. Previous bar/waiting experience is a bonus but not essential.

• Experience in bar or waiting roles is an advantage, especially in a busy food-led environment.
• Aged 18+ as you will be required to serve alcohol unsupervised.

Wonderful Pub in Charing Cross
Part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of iconic pubs, the Ship & Shovell is the only London pub in two halves, situated on either side of Craven Passage linked only by a tunnel which also contains the kitchen and cellar. Simply oozing with character and charm, the pub serves as the perfect traditional local for business guests and residents alike, as well as tourists frequenting the Charing Cross area.
