Job summary

Mitchells & Butler PLC in Dunfermline offers a Bar & Waiting Apprenticeship. You’ll be the welcoming face behind the bar, learn the drink and food menus, and help create a friendly atmosphere for every guest.

The program mixes face-to-face and online learning with on/off the job training, 30 hours paid work each week and regular reviews as part of the Hospitality Team Member Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to undertake Bar & Waiting Apprenticeship.
• Enthusiasm for hospitality and guest service.
• Able to learn menus and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet, serve and look after our guests.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Work with the team to create a friendly atmosphere guests will love.
• Know the menus inside out, making recommendations to guests.

As Bar and Waiting Staff atHarvester - Halbeath Park, you are the personality behind the beer pumps, the expert on the drink's menu and know our food menu inside out, frequently recommending your favourites. What your responsibilities will be...

• Greet, serve and look after our guests

What your Bar & Waiting Apprenticeship includes...

• A mixture of face to face and skype/phone catch ups every 4 - 6 weeks
• A mixture of on and off the job training, including workshops and webinars
• Reviews every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager and Lifetime Trainer
• Feedback sessions to discuss progress
• Obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths (if you don't already have GCSE)
• 30 hours paid work every week
