Job summary

JD Wetherspoon plc is seeking enthusiastic team players to serve food and drinks to high standards in our pubs across the UK. The role offers flexible shift patterns including mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes, with training and progression opportunities across kitchen, bar and pub management.

Qualifications

• Proof of right to work in the UK.
• Bank account in the applicant's name.
• Ability to converse in English and understand training duties.
• Fixed residence within reasonable travelling distance of the work location.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Take orders, prepare, dispense and serve drinks to the correct specification, at the bar or via the app.
• Deliver food to customers and manage check-backs and plate clearing within targets.
• Provide friendly customer interactions and build rapport with guests.
• Be knowledgeable about promotions, events and new products.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety, including clearing tables and toilets checks.
• Work across areas including glass-washing, restocking fridges, floor and beer garden duties as needed.
