Job summary

Upham Inns in Milton Keynes is seeking Bar Team Members to join our unique, stylish pub. You will welcome guests, take orders, handle cash or card payments, and serve hot and cold beverages including alcohol.

We offer flexible shift patterns, up to £12.21 per hour plus a share of Tronc, generous staff discounts, a development program with a clear pathway to General Manager, and incentives for referrals. Great teamwork and a passion for guest service are key.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old due to licensing laws.
• You’ll be a great communicator.
• You’ll have great decision‑making skills.
• You should be confident.
• You’ll need to be organised and have at least 1 year experience working behind the bar.
• Have the Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests in the pub.
• Taking food & drink orders and handling cash/card payments.
• Serving hot & cold beverages including alcohol.
• Ensure cleanliness throughout pub area.
• Assisting with managerial requests.
