Job summary

Boxpark is seeking a proactive Bar Team Member to deliver fast, friendly service in a high-volume venue. You will craft drinks, assist guests with menu recommendations, and contribute to a memorable dining and entertainment experience across our dynamic sites.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of beverage preparation and service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently.
• Deliver a welcoming guest experience and act on preferences.
• Upsell where appropriate and maintain bar standards.
• Keep bar and floor clean and well stocked throughout shifts.
• Adhere to Challenge 25 and all licensing objectives.
• Ensure wastage is recorded and reported as required.
• Maintain a tidy bar top and back bar at all times.
• Follow management tasks and escalate issues promptly.

Job description

For 13 years we have been offering our famous EAT.DRINK.PLAY experience with unrivalled street food, bars, shops and entertainment all under one roof.Where else could you eat Greek gyros and catch a Harry Styles party all in one place? Or play crazy golf, eat a Bao and watch Stormzy perform? No where!

In 2011 we created the world’s first pop-up dining and shopping destination in the heart of Shoreditch before opening venues in other iconic locations in Croydon, Wembley and in 2024 we opened in Liverpool and Camden.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for guests in an efficient and timely fashion

Providing a friendly, welcome and unique guest experience

Assessing guest’s needs and preferences and making recommendations using excellent product knowledge

Making useful upsell recommendations where applicable

Keep the bar and floor presentable and clean to the highest standard

Operate challenge 25 policy to ensure safe service of alcohol

Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

Comply with all food and beverage regulations

All wastage to be recorded on the spot and reported to supervisor

Pouring standards to be adhered to always and regular pour tests completed

Always maintain a clean and tidy bar top and back bar

Take responsibility for tasks assigned by management and communicate any issues to supervisors/managers

Key Skills & Experience:

In depth understanding of all products and how to prepare them

Knowledge of licensing objectives and Challenge 25

Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Ability to keep the bar organised, stocked and clean

Punctual and reliable

Ability to work well within the team to achieve brand and sales objectives

Ability to follow instruction efficiently and quickly

Adhere to Boxpark’s uniform policy and basic hygiene standard
