Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a Retail Supervisor for 14Forty in Moreton-in-Marsh on a part-time basis, 22 hours per week with a 3-out-of-7 shift pattern. You will help ensure smooth operations and deliver excellent service while supporting a frontline team.

Duties include checking deliveries, supervising staff, acting as a key holder, handling till and payments, creating weekly rotas, ordering stock, and enforcing food hygiene and health & safety standards.

• Ability to work under pressure while staying positive.

Responsibilities

• Check deliveries promptly and store them correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a welcoming environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Use the till, take orders and process payments.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as needed.
• Produce weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate tasks and keep the team proactive at all times.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Using the till, taking order and receiving payments
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Our ideal Retail Supervisor will:

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
• Team player and can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
