Job summary

Mary Rush Care Ltd's Miokuru Handroll Bar in Soho is seeking a star behind the bar to craft premium cocktails, welcome guests, and deliver warm hospitality in a discreet, high-end setting.

You will work with the GM, AGM and owner to build the cocktail menu, train staff, and evolve the drinks with the seasons, while upholding hygiene and licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in bartending at premium/high-end venues or hotels.
• Ability to reproduce cocktails to spec and create signature drinks.
• Commitment to hygiene, licensing and health & safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and hospitality as soon as they enter.
• Prepare and serve cocktails to spec; create and adapt the menu seasonally.
• Ensure bar hygiene and safety standards are strictly followed.

We are looking for a star behind the bar for the Miokuru speakeasy/ private dining room, part of Miokuru Handroll Bar in Soho.

Who we are:

We're an intimate 20-cover restaurant with a hidden bar. Chefs prepare and serve to customers right over the counter. The food is the show. Your job is everything around it, the welcome, the warmth, the moment someone walks in off the street and immediately feels like they're exactly where they're supposed to be.

You'll work alongside the GM, AGM and owner to deliver a great experience to everyone who walks through our door.

What we are after:

Experience in bartending and reproducing cocktails to spec in premium/ high end venues or hotels

Ability to produce a list of classic cocktails and fulfill guests requests

Ability to comply with hygiene, licensing and health and safety standards

Someone who can deliver our menu as well as be creative to evolve it as the seasons go by

A creative mind who can help us build out our cocktail bar's menu and launch it
