With a focus on employee welfare, flexibility and creating a dynamic atmosphere, we pride ourselves on our amazing team. We even won a National Award to prove it! We are one of the busiest venues in Bournemouth and our team love working with the buzz and energy that comes with being a part of the Marsham Court family.

Come and work with one of the most innovative and exciting hotels in the Bournemouth area.

As our Food & Beverage Assistant you will:
  • Give fantastic service on one of our four bars
  • Serve meals to our resident guests in our restaurant
  • Deliver amazing events such as weddings and birthdays
  • Help to make our events look and feel beautiful with an eye for detail
  • Take care of our building and make sure it is always clean and looking great

This is a flexible role split between restaurant and bar meaning each day will be different and you will get a variety of shift patterns.

We are looking for people with the desire to learn and grow in an environment that encourages you to use your flare to deliver amazing experiences for our guests. We even have a dedicated Training & Development Manager focused on mentoring you and giving you the skills you need to succeed in your career.

A Hotel With Heart

The Marsham Court is committed to being the most responsible and ethically driven business we can be. Following a major development project, we are now one of the most accessible hotels in the UK with facilities that go way beyond what you would find in your average hotel.

We have developed our CREW team who work within our business to drive change in three main areas: Sustainability, Community Outreach, and Employee Welfare. These projects are designed and led by the team meaning you can be a part of the change that you want to see.

Some of the projects we work on include:
  • New recycling and energy saving programmes
  • Mental health first aid qualifications for key team members
  • An increased social calendar to get our team together more often outside of work
  • A partnership with Bourne Free to deliver an event for the elderly LGBTQ+ community
  • A huge fundraising event for Dorset Children’s Foundation
Diversity Equity & Inclusion

Here at the Marsham Court Hotel, we live by five key values to ensure we create a happy and supportive environment for everyone, whether they are a guest or a member of our team.

  • We want our Marsham Court family to be as diverse as the world around us
  • We make sure that every person who works here has the same opportunities to develop and thrive
  • We believe that everyone should be treated the same, fairly and with respect
  • We create a culture of understanding, support and unity
  • We acknowledge and embrace each other’s differences rather than ignoring them

We are part of the Send Me 2 Work scheme, helping us to become a Disability Confident Leader. If you need any reasonable adjustments to be made during your application or interview process, please feel free to ask and we will be happy to help.
