Role Description

The Bar Project Manager is a fixed-term specialist role responsible for leading the planning, development and coordination of bar operations across Live Nation's 2026 festivals and outdoor event portfolio. This role is being introduced specifically to drive forward pre-season readiness across all bar workstreams - with a particular focus on shaping and delivering our new strategic partnership with our beer and cider partner for the 2026 across the entire UK business. The Bar Project Manager will ensure that all bar concepts, product ranges, operational plans, supply chain structures, data requirements and partner deliverables are fully developed, aligned and "event-ready" by early summer. This is an ideal role for someone with significant event bars experience, strong operator/supplier management capability, and a passion for building scalable, efficient bar programmes for large-format events.

  • Significant experience in event bars operations, ideally within festivals, outdoor events, or multi-site high-volume bar environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, supplier management or centralised bar operations.
  • Strong understanding of bar logistics, stock management, product range development and supplier relationships.
  • Experience preparing operational documents, costings or P&L inputs.
  • Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders, operators and brand partners.
  • Strong planning, organisational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of EPOS/cashless setup workflows.
  • Experience integrating sponsor or brand partner portfolios into bar operations.

What the role includes
Bar Programme Planning
  • Lead the full pre-season planning process for all bar operations across the 2026 outdoor and festival portfolio.
  • Develop event-specific bar plans covering footprint, layouts, bar formats, product ranges, staffing assumptions, dispense solutions and operational workflows.
  • Work with event directors, bar operators and internal teams to ensure plans are deliverable, efficient and aligned to commercial objectives.
  • Implement and work to a clear handover timeline to operational teams to deliver across the summer event season
Strategic Beer & Cider Partner Rollout
  • Act as the central project lead for our new beer and cider strategic partnership, ensuring the agreement is operationalised across all events.
  • Coordinate product range confirmation, service methodology, equipment requirements, brand-led activations and volume forecasting.
  • Ensure all partner deliverables, timelines and data requirements are tracked and met.
  • Work closely with Marketing Partnerships on brand integration and partner touchpoints.
  • Own and implement clear critical paths for partner delivery and ensure all internal and external stakeholders aligned
Data, Systems & Pricing Support
  • Work cross-functionally to prepare EPOS/product data, cashless setup details and P&L inputs required before event season begins.
  • Support the development of the pricing architecture for the 2026 season - ensuring pricing recommendations are insight-driven, competitive and aligned with commercial goals.
  • Internal coordination and documentation
  • Create and maintain central planning documents for concepts, ranges, forecasts, P&L assumptions, dispense requirements, staffing frameworks and partner deliverables.
  • Ensure all departments (Commercial, Fan Experience, Marketing, Cashless, Operations, Finance) have the timely information required to deliver bars successfully.
Insight, Benchmarking & Innovation
  • Review performance metrics from 2024/2025 seasons to shape planning decisions for 2026.
  • Benchmark against market trends, festival bar innovations, hospitality competitors and relevant emerging beverage categories.
  • Recommend new formats, technologies or operational enhancements to improve commercial return and fan experience
