Job summary

Compass Group UK&I Defence is recruiting Bar Staff to help craft drinks and deliver outstanding service on a part-time basis (15 hours per week). You will work to serve drinks, maintain a clean bar, and handle payments while upholding Defence and brand standards.

Ideal candidates will be strong communicators, team players, and able to stay calm under pressure during peak times. Shifts typically cover evenings and weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous bar or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work on your feet in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing drinks and serving food to a high standard.
• Maintain bar service with high-quality, efficient service.

We're currently recruiting for talented Bar Staff to help us create beautifully crafted drinks and provide exceptional customer service for Defence on a part time basis, contracted to 15 hours per week.

As Bar Personnel, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly presented drinks to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Maintaining an effective bar service with an emphasis on high-quality, efficient service
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Having a perfect knowledge of all beverages served in the bar, how to prepare them and how they should be presented
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
