Job summary

A leading hotel and leisure club in Solihull is seeking a passionate Banqueting / Buffet Chef. You will prepare high-quality menus for various events, ensuring excellent presentation and adherence to food safety regulations. The ideal candidate has prior experience in catering for large-scale events and possesses strong organisational skills. This position offers 25-30 hours per week, mainly during the day, including weekends.

Banqueting / Buffet Chef – Exciting Opportunity

Location : Arden Hotel & Leisure Club Solihull NEC

Salary: Competitive

Hours: 25-30 hours per week (including weekends as required) Mostly day shifts.

We are looking for a passionate and creative Banqueting / Buffet Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled chef with experience in large-scale catering, buffets, weddings, conferences, and special events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and presenting high-quality buffet and banqueting menus for events of all sizes.
  • Ensuring consistency, creativity, and excellent presentation across all dishes.
  • Working closely with the Head Chef and Events Team to plan and deliver bespoke menus.
  • Managing food preparation for large groups while maintaining efficiency and high standards.
  • Complying with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times.
About You
  • Previous experience as a Banqueting, Buffet, or Event Chef.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle high-volume service.
  • A flair for creative presentation and menu development.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding food.
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 or higher (preferred).
