Job description

Vacancies have arisen for Banksman to join the busy Logistics Dept at QA Hospital.

0600 to 1800 Mon to Sun (4 on 4 off)

Logistics provide a comprehensive service to all areas within the Queen Alexandra estate, ensuring that Receipt and Distribution service is maintained to a high standard.

Enthusiasm and flexibility are essential qualities required. To assist in providing both Patients, Staff and Visitors with a safe environment to receive and operative deliveries, by assisting with the management of vehicles within the Receipt and Distribution Department. In addition contributing to the operational and cleanliness of the department/area, and associated equipment in a Hospital/Healthcare setting, whilst working closely with ward/department staff to ensure high quality service provision.

This post is monthly paid, and a uniform is supplied. You will receive a first‑class training package, which incorporates on and off the job training with the use of large machinery, a generous annual leave entitlement and the opportunity to join the NHS pension scheme.
