Job summary

AndersElite in Morpeth, Northumberland, seeks an experienced Banksman / Vehicle Marshal for a long-term construction project. You will safely bank plant and direct site traffic, with emphasis on forklift movements, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

The role offers umbrella pay of £18.50–£19.50 per hour with PAYE options, 34 days holiday, and an immediate start. Previous CPCS/NPORS certification and safety requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Blue CPCS A73 Vehicle Marshal or NPORS N133 Vehicle Marshal certification.
• Experience banking plant and forklift movements.
• Safety Critical Medical required and can be arranged by us if needed.
• Must pass Drug & Alcohol test at induction.

Banksman / Vehicle Marshal

Immediate Start Long-Term Work Until December 2026

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Banksman / Vehicle Marshal to join a major construction project in Northumberland.

Requirements

• Blue CPCS A73 Vehicle Marshal or NPORS N133 Vehicle Marshal
• Previous experience banking plant and forklift movements
• Safety Critical Medical required (must be completed through a SEQOHS-accredited provider). If you dont already have one, we can help arrange this for you.
• Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test at induction
• Full PPE required (hard hat with chin strap, hi-vis, gloves, safety glasses and boots)

The Role

You will be responsible for safely banking and directing site traffic, with a particular focus on forklift operations, ensuring all vehicle and plant movements are conducted safely and efficiently.

Pay Rates

• Umbrella: £18.50 - £19.50 per hour
• PAYE: £14.01 - £14.77 basic / £16.12 - £16.99 premium
• 34 days holiday entitlement
