Leading international banking group in London is seeking an Operations Officer to join Wholesale Banking Operations. The role offers exposure across payments, financial crime controls, treasury settlements, reconciliations, operational risk and customer service.

Office-based with salary up to £40K, supporting SWIFT, BACS and other payment platforms. You will ensure accurate, timely processing of financial transactions, monitor for risks, assist with SAR/escalation and contribute to MI and

Qualifications

• Experience in banking operations, payments, or financial services.
• Exposure to AML/KYC and financial crime controls preferred.
• Familiarity with SWIFT, BACS or payment platforms.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Process and check payments through internal platforms.
• Monitor transactions for financial crime risks and first-line controls.
• Review payment screening alerts and escalate to Compliance when needed.
• Support SAR escalation and reporting requirements.
• Assist treasury settlements and SWIFT instructions.
• Investigate Nostro/Vostro reconciliation breaks and variances.
• Produce MI and support risk and control testing.
