Qualifications

• Solid, practical and demonstrable information security experience (technical and non-technical).
• Ability to support technology change initiatives to deliver secure solutions.
• Good understanding of core privacy concepts in tech change contexts.
• Understanding of Risk Management and Information Security within Financial Services.
• Experience in line management and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and collaboration with delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk & control assessments using the bank's processes, including privacy impact assessments.
• Develop knowledge of the tech stack and propose practical security solutions to teams.
• Support workstreams to identify and treat risks within risk appetite, documenting mitigations.
• Navigate secure change processes and drive approvals across gates.
• Build trust-based relationships with developers, testers, product managers and leads.
• Provide specialist advice on Information Security best practices and regulatory requirements.
