Job summary

QED Legal LLP in Manchester is seeking a Banking & Finance Associate with 2-6 PQE to join its expanding team. You'll work directly with the partner on live matters from day one, with real client contact and no excessive layering.

The role covers lender and borrower work, including leveraged and acquisition finance, real estate finance, and international elements, offering a chance to build a rounded banking practice and to take on increasing deal responsibility.

Qualifications

• 2-6 PQE in Banking & Finance.
• Strong client-facing and negotiation skills.
• Experience with lenders and borrowers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle lender and borrower instructions on live matters.
• Assist on leveraged and acquisition finance, including real estate finance and related structures.
• Take on increasing deal responsibility and early client contact with support from the partner.
