Job summary

Hollybank Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking compassionate Bank Support Workers to deliver day-to-day holistic care to adults with disabilities. This 0‑hour contract offers flexible hours (15–40 hours weekly) and requires attendance at a fixed two-week trust induction. Training is provided, with DBS checks completed through the employer.

You will work alongside experienced colleagues to promote independence, dignity and quality of life, in a supportive, values-driven team environment.

Job description

Salary:£12.81/hr (day shifts) and £13.61/hr (night shifts)

Are you compassionate, reliable, and motivated by making a real difference every day? Are you looking for a flexible role to fit around a part-time job, childcare, or your studies? Are you able to commit to regular shifts, including occasional weekends? If so, we want to hear from you! Bank roles at Hollybank allow additional flexibility that you may not get from a permanent contracted role. You will be required to attend a 2 week Trust induction, the dates/times of which are fixed. Please only apply if you are able to attend the induction.

Whilst the role is offered on a 0hr contract basis, there would regularly be 15-40hrs per week on offer depending on your availability.

About the Role

As a Bank Support Worker, you’ll provide day‑to‑day holistic support to adults, following the Trust’s intrinsic principles and behaviours. Your work will help individuals maintain independence, feel included in their communities, and enjoy the best possible quality of life. You’ll work closely with experienced Support Workers, Senior Support Workers, Deputies, and Registered Managers as part of a dedicated and values‑driven team.

Previous experience in a care or support setting is not essential, but is preferred. Full training will be provided.

If the candidate does not have a DBS, Hollybank will pay for the DBS check. If the candidate leaves voluntarily in their first 12 months, £58.90 will be deducted from their final salary payment.
