Job summary

Brainkind is seeking a Bank Support Worker in Hull to provide compassionate care for residents with brain injuries. Working as part of a small team at Victoria House, you will follow person-centered plans, ensuring safety, dignity and wellbeing while supporting daily living activities.

The role is hourly paid with a competitive rate up to £14.21 per hour, with access to training, pension and wellbeing programs. DBS/PVG checks and references are required, and sponsorship is not offered.

• Have genuine empathy for our residents, with the positivity, patience, and resilience to support them through the challenging times of their rehabilitation.
• Enjoy teamwork and take pride in getting a job done well alongside your colleagues.
• Have excellent face to face communication skills and a good standard of literacy.
• Have good time management skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload.
• Have experience in moving and handling including hoists.
• Enjoys providing people with good quality care
• Understands the importance of person centred night checks, security and providing basic night care support such as repositioning.
