Job summary

Look Ahead Care Support and Housing is recruiting a Bank Support Worker for Tower Hamlets and other London locations. The role involves proactive team collaboration, relationship-building with customers, and delivering key sessions to progress Support Plan goals.

You will help manage risks, assist with domestic tasks, and keep precise tenant records. The position requires flexible shifts, including early, late, night, and flexi hours, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage with customers calmly and respectfully.
• Comfort working in social care settings with vulnerable people.
• Willingness to learn and develop through induction and ILM courses.

Responsibilities

• Handle service caseload and administrative tasks with colleagues.
• Build supportive relationships with customers to support goals.
• Conduct engaging key work sessions to achieve Support Plan goals.
• Assess and manage risks with a positive risk-taking approach.
• Support customers with domestic tasks to maintain quality accommodation.
• Maintain accurate tenant/customer records and administrative files.
