Job description

Are you a Support Worker tired of working for companies focused on profit only? We are a charity that prioritises people over profit. Working as part of our growing Accommodation‑Based Services team, you will provide practical and emotional support to individuals preparing for their future and living independently. You will work in a trauma‑informed way, building strong relationships with our residents.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide practical support to individuals aged 16‑18 in supported accommodation (e.g., moving, settling in, shopping, budgeting, cooking).
  • Assist with safety planning to reduce harm.
  • Support residents in securing employment or training opportunities.
  • Encourage independent living skills and independence.
  • Collaborate with a tight‑knit team of Support Workers, Senior Support Workers, Night Building Supervisors, and a Project Manager on a rota basis.
Qualifications
  • Experience working as a support worker or relevant life experience.
  • Empathy, drive, and the ability to motivate others.
  • Willingness to learn, reflect and embrace opportunities.
  • Commitment to a charity focused on well‑being and successful outcomes.
