Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Bank Support Worker in Worksop to support adults in a residential service. Shifts include 7:30am–2:30pm, 2:30pm–9:30pm and 9:30pm–7:30am; the role focuses on enhancing independence and quality of life within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities include teaching life skills, assisting with personal care, enabling access to local communities, socialising, and participating in activities. DBS checks and references will be required.

Qualifications

• Be resilient, flexible and composed in your approach with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health and requiring enhanced support.
• You don’t need to have prior experience to be a fantastic Bank Support Worker.

Responsibilities

Bank Support Worker – Worksop - £12.71 per hour
Shifts are: Monday to Sunday, 7:30am - 2:30pm, 2:30pm - 9:30pm, 9:30pm - 7:30am

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands‑on Bank Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our Adult Residential Service, Rivers in Worksop is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local restaurants and attending appointments, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
