Qualifications

  • Previous experience in residential care or a similar role is essential.
  • A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3) is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • The right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship
  • A valid UK driving licence (Manual) and confidence in driving residents to activities
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays and attend training
  • NVQ Level 2 / Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete the Care Certificate during induction)
  • Previous experience in learning disability support or care work

Responsibilities

  • Provide person centred care and support to residents, ensuring theirdignity and respectare maintained at all times.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and personal hygiene.
  • Monitor and report on residents' progress and any changes in their health or behaviour to the appropriate team members.
  • Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote their well-being and social inclusion.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Drive/accompany residents toappointments, social outings, and fun activities.
  • Ensure residents aresafe, engaged, and supportedin their personal development.

Role: Bank Support Worker

Salary: £13.45 per hour
