Role Overview
- You will work with young adults who have complex needs.
- You are a respectful and caring individual who can passionately support young adults to fulfil their potential.
- This role is sometimes challenging but with huge rewards.
Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions together.
- Help plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning, and running errands.
- Assist with personal care, including support with eating and administering medication.
- Help plan and participate in exciting days out as desired.
- Make a positive impact by supporting individuals to become more independent wherever possible.
Qualifications & Skills
- A caring attitude, passion for supporting others, and motivation to see them achieve goals.
- A team player, able to work effectively with other colleagues.
- Resilience to keep going at difficult times and confidence to ask for support when needed.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
