Join My Team Support Worker Needed in Gosport

Role Available

Responsibilities

• Bank Support Worker required to cover shifts for absences of the current team and holidays with client. Typical Shifts are: Days 7am-7pm and Nights 7pm-7am.
• Youll be joining a small, committed team providing 24-hour support. Youll help with personal care, everyday household tasks, and getting out and about in the community. You use a Zimmer frame indoors and a wheelchair outdoors, so confdence with mobility support and using a wheelchair-adapted vehicle (WAV) is important. Youll enjoy activities such as tea and cake, and holidays, as part of the role.

Pay

• Monday-Friday days and waking nights: £14.18/hr
• Weekend days and waking nights: £16.44/hr
• Travel allowance available (eligibility applies)

Hi, Im Patrick. Im looking for a kind, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to join my care team in Gosport. Im a friendly, talkative guy with a great sense of humour, and Id like to find someone who shares my interests—especially if youre into karate, enjoy a bit of shopping, or just like good conversation. I live at home with my wife and our lovely Beagle. Ive been part of my local karate club for over 45 years and still attend regularly. In 2016, I had a brain injury following a road traffic accident, and since then, Ive needed a bit of extra support to live life to the fullest.

The Role

Youll be joining a small, committed team providing 24-hour support. I need help with personal care, everyday household tasks, and getting out and about in the community. I use a Zimmer frame indoors and a wheelchair outdoors, so its important that youre confident with mobility support and using a wheelchair-adapted vehicle (WAV). I enjoy getting out for tea and cake, and I love going on holidays, so being part of those moments is a big part of the role.
