Job Summary

Bank Support Worker – Bridgwater - £12.21 ph

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands‑on Bank Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a bank support worker with us you’ll help people gain more independence in their daily lives while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people.

Our supported living service in Bridgwater is a welcoming and friendly environment where no two days are the same. You will enhance the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access local communities, socialising and engaging in a range of activities. Some days you might accompany them to local bars and pubs, while other days you could unwind with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone who wants to make a real difference in someone’s life and help them grow in confidence and independence so they meet their goals, whether that is cooking dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

Responsibilities
  • Support residents to develop new life skills and independence.
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks.
  • Encourage and facilitate participation in local community activities.
  • Plan and organise social activities such as outings, games, film sessions and cinema trips.
  • Provide compassionate, person‑centred support at all times.
